Common questions

What is the difference between epoxy coating and CIPP lining?

Epoxy coating applies resin to the inside of a prepared pipe. CIPP, or cured in place pipe, uses a resin saturated liner that cures inside the existing line. The appropriate method depends on the pipe condition, dimensions, access and repair scope. We explain the proposed method in your estimate.

Will lining fix a sewer belly?

Lining follows the existing pipe path and does not correct a sagging section or improper slope. A belly or collapsed section may need a spot repair before the remaining line can be evaluated for lining.

Can every damaged pipe be lined?

Lining is an option only where the pipe and site conditions allow it. We inspect the existing line and review its material, condition, dimensions, and access before recommending a method. If lining is unsuitable, we explain the other repair options.

Does trenchless lining mean no digging at all?

Access work may still be needed. Before you approve the project, the technician explains the access required, the section of pipe proposed for lining, and what restoration is included or would be quoted separately.

What should my pipe-lining estimate explain?

It should identify the pipe section being treated, the preparation and access work, the proposed lining method, and any exclusions or separately quoted work. We confirm the scope and price after assessing the existing line and discuss changes with you before proceeding.
